Wat is een cilinderkop reviseren?
A cylinder head is one of the most fragile parts of an engine, and in the process one of the most overhauled. Damage can occur to a cylinder head due to such things as high oil consumption, breaking of the timing chain or belt, overheating of an engine, or driving on LPG.
NHMR has a spacious workshop where the complete process is in-house. For example, first the cylinder head is disassembled and cleaned, then the carbon deposits are removed and everything is degreased. After this, the cylinder head is pressed off to check it for cracks. Then the components are accurately measured and replaced where necessary.
