Innovation and sustainability

Anticipating the future, we are committed to innovating and making our services, services and products more sustainable to provide both social and economic benefits.
In an environmentally responsible, safe and sustainable manner which is regularly tested, we have been carrying out all our work for customers in the most transparent way possible for almost 50 years.
Spacious workshop

More than 150 complete engines are overhauled annually in our spacious workshop. Because of our own equipment, this complete process is in-house.
We can draw on a large inventory of parts required for both overhaul and service and maintenance work.

History
Where it all began
Noordhollandse Motorenrevisie BV, founded in 1975 and started in a small space in Nieuwe Niedorp by motorcycle racer Pieter Blauwboer. After a fatal accident in the tarzan bend of the Zandvoort circuit in 1983, Henk Harberts continued his activities until 1996, after which the current director / owner Quintus Meijer took over the company and has led it to this day. From the early days of a few employees who were exclusively engaged in the overhaul of car, motorcycle and truck engines, the market changed over time more and more towards marine and industrial applications.
After moving to Winkel in 2004, we now have 15 employees who serve our diverse and international clientele both on location and in the workshop. In March 2026, NHMR was acquired by the Van Twist family of Dordrecht, owners of specialty companies in (emergency) power solutions and internal combustion engines.
